XR-117 is tested in Certification. Titles that are in beta stage must have a splash screen or message displayed within the experience, after launch but before gameplay or application usage, that communicates:
  • The title is beta/pre-release software.
  • Some platform features might not work correctly.
  • Some game features might not work correctly and might crash.
The notification must also outline the support boundaries for the title. Beta and Game Preview titles are subject to a subset of the XRs. See Beta & Game Preview cert for the reduced XR set.
