This article describes how to configure a product relationship between game products. Configure the relationships that your product has with other products. These relationships include products that your product is a generation of, and products that your product can use or sell, aside from its own add-ons. For more information about the types of product relationships that you can configure, see Product relationship management.

Prerequisites

  • Enrollment as an XBOX creator. To learn more, see XBOX Creator Onboarding.
  • Active Partner Center account. If you don’t have an account yet, contact your XBOX team.
  • Approved Game Concept for your product. To learn more, see Submit game concepts.

Configure a product relationship

Sign in to [Partner Center](https://developer.microsoft.com/dashboard).

On the **Home** page, select **Apps and games**.

On the **Apps and games | Overview** page, select your title.

Select **Product relationship setup** from the left navigation pane.

To create a new relationship, select **Add new relationship**.

To create a new relationship, select Add new relationship. Then, select a Relationship type, which can be one of the following: can sell, can use and sell, and generation of.

From the list, select all items that you want to create a product relationship for, with the base game. Enter the name or Microsoft Store ID in the search bar to filter items.

Select **Add**.
