Partner Center provides energy consumption data for your title on the XBOX console, so you can monitor and optimize your title’s environmental impact. See how much power, energy, and carbon your titles are generating, and compare month over month to measure the impact of updates. See Downloads Hub datasets — Partner Center for the full dataset reference.

Convert energy or CO₂ data to real-world equivalencies

Sum the emissions in the TitleCO2e_MetricTon column, then use the EPA’s Greenhouse Gas Equivalencies Calculator. Select Emissions Data and paste in your total. For reference, 1,000 metric tonnes of CO₂-equivalent is roughly:
  • 2.5M miles driven by an average petrol/gas car
  • 1.1M pounds of coal burned
  • Carbon sequestered by ~1,150 acres of forest
(Actual equivalencies vary — use the calculator for authoritative numbers.)

Use the data to prioritize

Once you have monthly baselines for a released title:
  • Identify the highest-consumption countries or SKUs.
  • Compare pre- and post-update months to measure the impact of any energy-efficiency work.
  • Cross-reference against the Energy efficiency essentials to plan the next round of optimizations.
