ShapeUnsignedToU24

Takes an unsigned 32-bit integer and returns the value in the upper 24 bits of an unsigned 32-bit integer.

Parameters

value   
Type: UINT32 An unsigned 32-bit integer.

Return value

Type: UINT32 An unsigned 32-bit integer, with the input value in the upper 24 bits.

Remarks

This function returns the value of an unsigned 32-bit integer in the upper 24 bits of an unsigned 32-bit integer. To return the value in the upper 16 bits of an unsigned 32-bit integer, use ShapeUnsignedToU16. To return the value of a signed 32-bit integer in the upper 24 bits of an unsigned 32-bit integer, use ShapeSignedToU24.
