# player_identity_link_added

> player_identity_link_added event.

This event is triggered when a player identity from a player identity provider is linked to a master\_player\_account entity. After linking, the player identity may be used to authenticate the master\_player\_account.

## Properties

| Name                     | Type   | Description                                                                                   |
| :----------------------- | :----- | :-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| IdentityLinkId           | String | Unique identifier of the added link between the player identity and master\_player\_account.  |
| IdentityProvider         | String | Name of the player identity provider in which the linked identity exists.                     |
| IdentityProviderIssuedId | String | Unique identifier of the linked player identity, as assigned by the player identity provider. |

## Common Properties

All V2 PlayStream events are formatted as JSON objects and most share the following common properties:

| Entity             | [Object](/services/playfab/api-references/events/data-types/entityobject)     | Details about the entity to which this event applies including Entity Id and Entity type. |
| Originator         | [Object](/services/playfab/api-references/events/data-types/originatorobject) | Object describing the source and source type that initiated this event.                   |
| PayloadContentType | String                                                                        | Specifies the content of the event payload. Default is "JSON".                            |
| Origin Info        | Object                                                                        | Optional field containing info about events originating outside of PlayFab.               |
