# PFLeaderboardsGetLeaderboardGetResultSize

> Reference for PFLeaderboardsGetLeaderboardGetResultSize, which returns the buffer size in bytes for the leaderboard result in the PlayFab C API.

Get the size in bytes needed to store the result of a GetLeaderboard call.

## Syntax

```cpp theme={null}
HRESULT PFLeaderboardsGetLeaderboardGetResultSize(  
    XAsyncBlock* async,  
    size_t* bufferSize  
)  
```

### Parameters

**`async`**   XAsyncBlock\*<br />*Inout*

XAsyncBlock for the async operation.

**`bufferSize`**   size\_t\*<br />*output*

The buffer size in bytes required for the result.

### Return value

Type: HRESULT

Result code for this API operation. If the service call is unsuccessful, the result will be E\_PF\_LEADERBOARD\_NOT\_FOUND, E\_PF\_NO\_LEADERBOARD\_FOR\_STATISTIC, E\_PF\_SPECIFIED\_VERSION\_LEADERBOARD\_NOT\_FOUND, E\_PF\_STATISTIC\_NOT\_FOUND or any of the global PlayFab Service errors.
