# MicrosoftGame.config Element - MainPackageDependency

Specifies the identity of the base package to which your DLC belongs.

## Parent

This element's parent is the DesktopRegistration element.

## Requirement

This element is optional and is not required to be set.

## Platform

This element only pertains to PC devices.

## Behavior

* Attribute is Name.
* Name attribute has no default value.
* Allowed value for Name attribute is an ASCII value between 3 and 50 characters long.
