# Authorization Types

XBOX Live Services uses a number of authorization types with requests.
This article describes the standard authorization types.

| Type  | Description                              |
| ----- | ---------------------------------------- |
| User  | Caller is an authorized XBOX Live user.  |
| Title | Caller is a title on a trusted platform. |
