# Product relationship management

> Configure product relationships in Partner Center to link products with can sell, can use and sell, and generation of relationship types for XBOX.

The **Product relationship setup** page allows you to specify relationships between your product and other products in Partner Center. You can create a relationship between any products to which you have read or write access in your Partner Center account.

You can create three types of relationships between products:

* **can sell**: The related product can be sold from within your game or app. You can set up this type of relationship with other apps or games.
* **can use and sell**: The related product can function as an add-on to your game or app. You can set up this type of relationship with add-ons of other games or apps.
* **generation of**: The related product functions as a generation of the primary product. You can set up this type of a relationship to specify one product for the XBOX One family of devices and another for the XBOX Series X|S family of devices, such that the correct product is automatically installed by a customer depending on their device.

Relationships between base games and their add-ons are automatically configured when you create an add-on. For this reason, add-ons created under a game are available only on the **Add-ons** page and are unavailable for configuring relationships in that base game.

## Set up a product relationship

</Steps>

After you save your new relationships, a banner will inform you that creating the relationships might take a few minutes. After that time, the relationships will be established and your product will be able to sell (or use and sell) the other products you’ve added. You can view a list of current **Existing relationships** for a product, on its **Product relationship setup** page.

If you want to remove a relationship you’ve previously added, select **Remove** next to its name in the **Existing relationships** section, then select **Save**.
