# Pricing models

> Compare the Agency and Reseller pricing models available for Microsoft Store products, and understand how each affects retail and wholesale prices.

There are two models for selling products in the Microsoft Store.

* In the *Agency* pricing model, the prices you configure for your product are the final prices that will appear in the Microsoft Store.
* In the *Reseller* pricing model, the prices you configure for your product are the suggested retail prices, which relate to the wholesale prices for the product. Microsoft sets the final price of the product in the Microsoft Store.

<Note>
  For additional information about the pricing model for your product, refer to your licensing agreement with Microsoft.
</Note>

Regardless of the pricing model, you configure the pricing for your product in the **Pricing** section on the **Pricing and availability** page. For more information, see [Availability - markets, pricing, release schedule](/publishing/game-publishing/concepts/availability/availability-overview).
