# XR-034 Streaming Install Initial Play Marker

> Titles declaring an initial play marker for Streaming Install must offer a playable gameplay experience at that marker, not a progress bar, video, or menu.

**XR-034 is tested in Certification.** Titles that include an initial play marker must provide a **gameplay experience** when launched from the initial play marker.

## Requirement

When a user launches your title after only the initial play marker chunk has installed, the title must deliver an interactive gameplay experience — for example, a tutorial, the first level, or a quick multiplayer match in one mode. Non-interactive experiences (progress bars, video loops, image sequences, or the main menu alone) do not satisfy this XR.

## Test cases

### 034-01 Streaming Installation

1. Sign in to an XBOX profile.
2. Install the title and launch it as soon as the initial play marker is installed — but before the full package has finished.
3. Attempt to enter every area of the title.

**Pass:** The title provides interactive gameplay (tutorial, first level, quick multiplayer match) at the initial play marker.

**Fail examples:**

* Only a progress bar is shown.
* Videos or image sequences play with no interactivity.
* Only the main menu is accessible.
* Any other non-interactive experience.
